This first release comes from Paolo Martini & Paul C and is entitled the ‘Special One E.P.’ with 3 tracks of driving, hypnotic grooves including a great remix from Johnny D. Having careers spanning 25 and 15 years respectively, these guys know what it takes to make a hit and work a dancefloor. Martini (as part of Bini & Martini) was one of the most profilic house producers around at the turn of the millennium and as a result toured the world as one of the most in-demand producers on the scene, including working with major labels like Strictly Rhythm, EMI, Universal and Sony. Paul C’s has honed his production skills since the mid 90s, which has lead to his work being released on many labels under many monikers. Since 2009, together with Paolo Martini.
Special One:
The title track is a chunky, throbbing club bomb with a classic vocal sample grinding throughout and keeping the rhythm working harder and harder.
Plug Me:
Immediately locks you in with its ritual-like, percussive loops to keep you on your toes from start to finish; building intensely, the relentless drums and driving groove then subside briefly before coming back at you in an ethnic frenzy of solid beats.
Plug Me:
The Johnny D Remix strips it back to the raw materials, a typical D beat that evolves and keeps revolving. An instant funky groove and deep endless drive make it both crowd pleaser and the perfect filler.
Digital Bounus:
Finally, Good as Gold is a track that signals that the night has really started; one long crescendo that pushes things a little higher-octane but using a filtered vocal with disco attitude to keep the vibe bubbling right.

"Plastic People" premiered May 26th, at The Box an authentic vaudeville theater in NYC, both Louie Vega and Anane showed what the buzz is all about!
Louie Vega starts the night with a two hour set that had The Box feeling open, then Anane brought her video to life with her theatrical performance and unmistakable presence.
